Polygraphia Power
Point Series
We offer four Power Point Presentations for use in the classroom
for teaching and discussion, or for private use by students
for learning and revision. The City of Athens
has 103 slides showing features of the ancient city, including
the Acropolis and its architecture, and treasures from the
museum. Rome has 120 slides covering remains
from early Rome, the period of Augustus, Campania including
Pompeii and Herculaneum, the period of the Flavians, then
the Adoptive Emperors and finally Constantine. Greek
Sculpture has 75 frames showing the development
of sculpture both free-standing and relief sculpture. Pompeii
and Herculaneum has 60 frames covering the present
day context and the set pieces of architecture, wall painting
and mosaics. Each presentation includes a CD and a book which
has an explanation of each slide in the presentation. For
